The Murano glass

Ours is no ordinary high quality glass.
It is made on Murano, an island an hour from Venice, which is renowned for its glass and the skilful techniques used to fashion it.

Murano glass is a fragile and normally transparent material made of silicates, melted at high temperatures, with added arsenic, antimony, and nitrates which are the key to its high quality.
Each piece of glass commissioned is handmade by murano's master craftsmen whose glass-blowing techniques date back to 1500.
There is something miraculous about watching a glassmaker blow into a bolus of vitreous paste as he creates a piece of glass, a tumbler or a vase.

So why not adorn your home with a beautiful piece of Murano glass in the shape of a Metal Lux lamp.
